AdWords Grant for Non-Profits

1.Direct Traffic

Google will give you $330.00 daily for marketing your non-profit. The biggest mistake you can make is not directing traffic to the right spot. Imagine if the police officer standing in the middle of the road started waving his baton in circles. The vehicles would go haywire! That is what will happen if you are not properly optimizing your traffic to the correct landing page on your site. If you want visitors to take action don't send them to the about us page, send them to the shopping cart.

2.Spending Your Money For AdWords

Google gives you grant money for free if you are a non-profit. There is no reason to spend your own money on advertising campaigns while using AdWords. In some cases it can actually cause you to lose your grant!

3.Quality Keywords

$330.00 in advertising daily can be chewed up fast if your keywords are chosen in poor taste. If you run a church in Orlando Florida don't pick a keyword that would say "Florida Churches" The difference can be hundreds of dollars saved for one visitor to your organizations webpage.

4.Using Only One Ad

Advertising is optimization driven. Sure you can choose to throw away $10,000 a month on one advertising campaign or you can optimize each advertisement for the best ROI. Why show 50 people your charity when you can show 500?

5.Your Landing Page

This is the most important part of the five. Google will prioritize your advertisement based on the landing page you direct traffic to. Not only will the landing page play a key role optimizing conversions, the landing page will directly alter Googles organic search placement. Is your landing page optimized for conversions?
